One of the best sessions of the last few years. Lancing. 2 til 4:30 non-stop. only stood on the beach once to give it a bit more down and out haul. 4m ezzy was the perfect size, max power out the back but always comfortably on the edge. Ideal for the slight wind shadow on the inside. Full power for laying it down on the waves.

The waves were sensational, perfect cross shore and not a hint of a current, plumes of spray blowing off the tops. Face height was between 4 and 6 feet every time with bigger ones out there. Without b*llsh*t, i had 10 down the line turns on 2 or 3 waves, not weedy cut backs, but nice easy, smooth bottom-top combos x 10. Average was about 5, and not even milking right onto the shingle. Funny it wasnt even particularly hard work, 3 hour session and only quit because I bottom turned the footstrap out of the board. Just optimum conditions. Solo.
